Warehouse Manager manages warehouse operations and processes. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Being a Warehouse Manager optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Additionally, Warehouse Manager utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance. Position and Location:
We are currently seeking applicants to fill the position of Material and Warehouse Manager in Seminole, TX. This position is full time with the opportunity for overtime. Applicant needs to be based in the Seminole area.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Reviewing construction prints and ordering material needed to complete job.
Staging material for jobs/ Making sure all material is on hand for jobs.
Fill out and/or assist with job site hazard assessments.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Making recommendations to management when required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read blueprints.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
Must be punctual, task oriented, and very well organized.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to understand and communicate in a proper manner on email, text, or phone.
Relay information and questions through the proper hierarchy chain.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Warehouse management experience an asset.
Electrical/ telecom background preferred
Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage
Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker
Hands on experience with inventory
Physical Requirements:
Kneeling, bending, climbing stair and ladders.
Must be able to lift as much as 50 pounds at a time.
Minimum 8-hour work day.
Work in all weather conditions.
Drive for extended periods of time throughout the day.
Pass a pre job drug test.
