May view or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other database. Additionally, Warehouse Worker typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Warehouse Worker works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Core Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing and shipping customer orders Use forklift to load trailers and containers with completed shipments Use forklift to unload and verify incoming shipments Responsible for rotation of product following the FIFO process Assist in performing inventory cycle counts and quality control inspections Use required equipment safely (forklift, drum handler, pallet wrapper, and pallet inverter) Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Warehouse and forklift operation experience Ability to learn and operate a forklift (trained and received on the job) Basic computer knowledge Experience using RF scanner or other barcode scanning system Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse setting with heavy forklift traffic and noise Skilled in multi-tasking Strong communication skills High level of attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Supply chain experience that includes organization and replenishment of materials Experience in a high-volume warehouse

About Ahmeek, Michigan
Ahmeek is a village in Keweenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 146 at the 2010 census. The village is in Allouez Township. The name Ahmeek is derived from the Ojibwe (Chippewa) language.
