SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for reconciling warranty receivables for all Lazydays locations that process warranty claims.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Receives and reconciles checks from manufactures, suppliers, etc. for all Lazydays locations.
· Research why a claim was not paid in full.
· Once identified why the claim was not paid get with the appropriate party to get the claim resubmitted for payment.
· Processing write-offs if amount is not collectible
· Move funds from the old claim to the new claim in the warranty credit screen once the resubmittal has been processed.
· Research claims accounting is unable to match and balance claim against payment.
· Research claims older than 90 days that have not been paid.
· Contact manufactures and or vendor about payment status and resubmit process.
· Submitting for extended warranty payment:
· Make sure the repair order matches the authorization provided by extended warranty company.
· Submit for payment.
· Reconcile payment discrepancies if needed.
· Back up to Warranty Administrator:
· Balance and QC warranty tickets ready to close.
· Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
· Maintains communications with shop managers, delivery/service departments, delivery/service managers, Techs and salespersons, as necessary.
· Attend all company required meetings
· Additional responsibilities as requested or required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to meet insurance requirements
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Ability to handle pressure situations effectively
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
· Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Availability to work in excess of 40 hours a week including nights and weekends with little to no advance notice.
· Flexibility to cover changing work schedules as needed.
· Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
· Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, push, and pull
· Must be able to stand / walk for extended periods of time.
· Ability to sit and work on a computer, looking at a monitor for extended periods of time.
· Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
· Exposure to environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
· Ability to work in changing climates and work outside for extended periods.
· Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
EDUCATION:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
· Knowledge of company software systems.
· Intermediate skills with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
