We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Aquatics Manager to oversee our indoor waterpark facility. As the Aquatics General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests, and supervising a team of lifeguards and aquatic staff. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the aquatic facility, including pool operations, water quality, and equipment maintenance
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff
- Train and supervise lifeguards and aquatic staff, providing ongoing coaching and feedback
- Coordinate and oversee aquatic events, such as swim meets or water fitness classes
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Prepare reports on facility usage, incidents, and maintenance needs
- Assist with cash handling procedures and financial reporting as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the facility
Experience:
- Previous experience in aquatics management or a related field is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in shift management and scheduling
- Knowledge of hospitality principles and guest service best practices
- Proficient in report writing and record keeping
- Familiarity with events management in an aquatic setting is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely
