Seeking someone who would like to be a field technician for a local water company
Tasks include: Cleaning yard, Changing Meters, rotating valves and maintenance on fire hydrants.
Pay is minimum wage, if educated or experience may vary in pay. Keep in mind this job is DIRTY and will encounter bugs, snakes, spiders, etc.
In Training you will learn to read meters, take water samples, inpect water distribution facilities, install meters, fire hydrants, exercise water valves and learn the basics of a back hoe operation.
Knowledge with PVC pipe or sprinkler system a plus
Drivers License Required
We do not offer health benefits or retirement
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
Schedule:
- Extended hours
- On call
- Weekends as needed
