Wealth Management Specialist develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. May have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. AS A CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, YOU WILL MAINTAIN THE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BY ENSURING CURRENT CONTRACTS, ADDENDUMS, AND/OR FEE SCHEDULES ARE ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM AND ARE ACCURATE; ANALYSES FACILITY MANAGED CARE CONTRACTS TO DETERMINE ACCURACY OF PAYMENTS RECEIVED TO CODES BILLED; PROVIDES A VARIETY OF REPORTS FROM THE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REGARDING PAYER PERFORMANCE, UNDERPAYMENTS, “LESSER THAN” CHARGES, ETC.; PERFORMS PAYMENT MODELING BASED ON POTENTIAL CHANGES TO PAYER CONTRACTS;
MAKES RECOMMENDATIONS TO PREVENT FUTURE LOSSES. PROVIDES INFORMATION TO ASSIST FACILITY IN MANAGED CARE CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BACHELOR DEGREE IN FINANCE, ACCOUNTING OR HEALTHCARE RELATED FIELD REQUIRED. RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE MAY BE ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT.
- ACCOUNTING, FINANCE, CONTRACT MANAGEMENT HIGHLY PREFERRED; EXPERIENCE WITH CERNER EMR AND/OR CERNER PATEINT ACCOUNTING HIGHLY PREFERRED
- STRONG QUANTITATIVE, ANALYTICAL AND ORGANIZATION SKILLS. GENERAL ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND CONTRACT LANGUAGE, INSURANCE TERMS AND PAYMENT METHODOLOGIES. EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE WITH INSURANCE CARRIERS AND CUSTOMERS. UNDERSTAND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY. EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE OF PRODUCTS.
- CURRENT KNOWLEDGE OF ANALYZING HOSPITAL PAYER CONTRACTS, REVENUE CYCLE PROCESSES, AND HOSPITAL/MEDICAL BILLING
