This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with core hours between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Applicants hired into this position can work hybrid from WI or IL. When in the office you work at 1212 Deming Way, Middleton, WI.

We are seeking a Manager, IS Applications - Epic Ambulatory to:
- Oversee the strategic direction of our Epic Ambulatory IT team, aligning with broader organizational goals.
- Leverage deep knowledge of Epic Foundation and Epic Ambulatory applications (Primary Care, Specialty Care, Pop Health, Community Connect, Rehab, etc) to lead the teams, optimize workflows, and improve patient care.
- Lead a high-performing team of IT professionals made up of leaders and individual contributors to manage the day-to-day operations and solution delivery.
- Manage complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Foster strong relationships with Epic and other third-party vendors to maximize the value of our investments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field Required
- Four (4) years of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree Required
- Master's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field strongly Preferred
Work Experience
- Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large scale solutions including some experience leading without direct authority. Required
- Demonstrated success influencing and supporting operational partners with organizational change management Required
- Demonstrated success leading the improvement of platforms, standards, and processes leading to increased operational excellence, elimination of waste, and reduced technical debt Required
- Demonstrated success forming and sustaining collaborative, trusted-advisor relationships with stakeholders and IS colleagues Required
- Demonstrated success balancing the delivery of projects and recurring operations, including some experience with product delivery Preferred
- Demonstrated success managing $5 million-dollar budget, vendors, partners, and/or managed services Preferred
- 5 years progressive experience in IS or Informatics project, product, and solution delivery Preferred
- 2 years progressive leadership experience within healthcare IT or Informatics Preferred
- Demonstrated success working on or leading initiatives that use agile methods Preferred
- Experience in direct clinical care, health care operations, or health care administration Preferred
- Healthcare subject matter expertise including at least five (5) years' experience in a health system, academic medical center, or health payer organization Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Vendor (e.g. Epic, Oracle, other) certifications as relevant for the position, per department guidelines Preferred
- CPHIMS, PMI, ITIL Preferred
