    Job Description: Graphic Designer
    Department: Marketing
    Status: Full time
    Description: The graphic designer position is responsible for developing and maintaining a wide variety of traditional branded marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, presentations, signage, advertising and more as directed to insure company branding, increase sales and profitability.
    Responsibilities:
    • Creates digital media graphics, online advertisements, custom videos and other related media channels.
    • Coordinates with outside print and ad vendors to ensure brand consistency and project deadlines
    • Participates in peer design review with ability to receive and instruct constructive feedback in a team envoirment
    • Assist with coordinating and implementing marketing, advertising, and promotions to effectively position and build awareness of the company’s products and services to its customers and community
    • Assist with coordinating and implementing community relations plan to effectively build awareness of the bank and promote the relevance of the bank to the lives of the people in the community. Attendance in community events that the company sponsors, spearheads or has participation
    • Education and awareness of market trends in communication and multimedia. Commitment to learning and continuous self-development
    • Assist the portal coordinator with development and distribution of internal campaigns
    Competencies

     Familiarity with Microsoft Office
     Support for a respectful office culture & the ability to work in a team environment

     Strong organizational skills
     Effective problem-solving skills
     Ability to coordinate and meet deadlines

    Physical Demands
    The position operates in a clerical office setting. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, hear and use hands.
    This is largely a sedentary role in a professional environment. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time. The ability to lift 25lbs and to attend designated outside activities is required.
    Expected Hours of Work
    This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of the organization unless directed or approve by management. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
