Entry level designer

Daily Tasks:

• Designing and building websites
• Research, planning and documentation
• Project management
• Updating websites per client needs
• Adding content and pages to websites
• Communicating with clients, by email, phone and Zoom
• Communicating with myself daily and/or weekly on project updates and new projects
• Cropping/editing images for websites
• Updating website software
• Updating project tasks
• Updating social media posts for JPG
• Proficient in visual design, layout, and typography
• Ability to layout aesthetically pleasing web pages to meet client/project goals
• Understanding of responsive web design principles
• Self-motivated and passionate about design and current trends
• Eagerness to learn more
• Ability to react well to design direction
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong written, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to empathize with clients that are not tech savvy
• Basic verbiage proofing, editing and some light content writing
• Sending out newsletters with Mailchimp

• Wordpress - Advanced
• Wordpress Themes & Plugins - Advanced
• Website Builders: Elementor & Visual Composer
• Divi theme/builder
• Mobile Friendly/ Responsive Designs
• Some Basic HTML, CSS Etc.
• Photoshop - Moderate to Advanced
• Illustrator - Basic
• Mailchimp - Basic
• Cpanel & FTP - Moderate to Advanced
• SEO - Moderate to Advanced
• Social media marketing - Basic - to Advanced
• Google Ads setup and management - Beginner to basic
• Facebook/IG Ads setup and management - Beginner to basic

Position is starting as a 1099 subcontractor.
