Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time Web and Service Server Administrator to join our Medical Information team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
Summary:
Installs and administers Web and Service Server Administration and evaluates the organization's computer systems to determine needed enhancements, technologies, and collaborates to develop plans for improvements and maintenance.Responsibilities:

- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

- Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment
- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
- Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
- May provide break coverage for others as assigned
- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit
- Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
- Serves as point-person for all issues involving the technical aspects of the assigned programs or tools and executes timely resolutions
- Understands performance metrics, monitors system performance, and troubleshoots issues
- Engages in capacity planning exercises to ensure adequate system resources
- Writes and maintains scripts to improve system management tasks
- Participates in the change control process for all planned or unplanned applications and technical activities
- Maintains and tests processes related to business continuity
- Follows best practices for hardware and software configuration
- Manages print queues and electronic health record printing infrastructure
- Monitors network and web server activity using intrusion detection techniques for security breaches
- Installs and manages the application deployment platforms that serve production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, and non-production needs
- Installs and maintains administrative and monitoring tools necessary for high levels of availability and performance of healthcare application systems
- Configures, supports, and maintains client systems and Web-based applications
- Monitors logs and System Pulse for anomalies and works to resolve them, involving others as needed
- Participates in operational, system, and user/customer acceptance planning and testing, supporting the full end-to-end deployment of the overall system solution
- Assists in the configuration and troubleshooting of integrated third-party software and peripherals
- Applies platform upgrades and updates to production and non-production web server components
- Execute routine system administrative functions for various applications
- Schedules and completion of service tasks
- Assesses the customer's business need or problem using online tools and analytical thinking to diagnose and resolve the issue or business need
