Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Welder for our Downingtown facility located in Downingtown, PA . The working schedule for this position is 2nd shift.

Do you pride yourself in being a jack-of-all trades? The Welder position is critical to support plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

This position requires welding certification. Primary duties include performing the layout of work and all types of welding on stationary and mobile equipment.

May also assist in maintenance work or other work as assigned.

• Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures
• Must pass certification for 3G,4G

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years welding experience
• Must pass welding certification
• Able to use oxygen / acetylene torches
• Horizontal and Vertical and Overhead welding
• Air Arcing
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to work on large equipment
• Ability to work in small spaces.
• Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and / or overtime required
• Physical Requirements : sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending (bending at the waist, lifting above the waist and lifting below the waist), kneeling, reaching, grasping (use of both hands), squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements with both hands, use of wrists (flexing or rotating with both wrists), use of both feet, use of arms above and below shoulder, work extended periods of time in same position, perform duties in all climates i.
