Wellness Program Manager designs and implements wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements. Partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce wellbeing awareness with on-site health events, classes, assessments/screenings, and information resources. Being a Wellness Program Manager develops and implements work-life programs to provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Wellness Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Wellness Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Wellness Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • The Teacher Accelerator Program (TAP) is seeking a self-motivated, passionate professional to join our team as Program Manager. This leader will provide support for the TAP program directors and teacher candidates as well as actively recruit TAP candidates into our program. This role requires a confident self-starter with attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects at once, and excellent time management and organizational skills. This is a full-time, salary-exempt, hybrid working position.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Program Operations/Logistics
    • Coordinate with Directors to plan, organize and implement any logistical support needed for TAP’s program success.
    • Oversee the purchase, maintenance and inventory of program supplies and materials.
    • Manages all logistics for TAP programming including scheduling, securing venues, ordering food and supplies, sending out invitations and reminders, and collecting RSVPS.
    • Suggest and establish new processes and practices that will help bring additional efficiencies to the organization.
    • Manage the hiring process with M-DCPS for our candidates.
    • Data System Management
    • Support Directors in maintaining all program data for analysis (attendance, surveys, etc).
    • Maintain a system for tracking teacher candidate’s progress through programmatic requirements including testing & certification, fingerprinting, and survey submissions. Follow up with candidates who have missed deadlines, as needed.
    • Marketing, Recruitment and Enrollment
    • Support Directors in creating and maintaining program specific marketing materials and social media content and engagement.
    • Provide logistical support programmatically and to teacher candidates during the recruitment onboarding process.
    • Provide logistical support to teacher candidates during the M-DCPS hiring process including completing the District application and submitting certification paperwork.
    • Provide procedural programmatic support to teacher candidates including registration for exams and certification and other support.
    • Follow up with and track all inquiries from potential teacher candidates including from UM and inquiries directly from our site.
    • Manage the TAP Newsletter.
    • Proactively check-in with TAP teacher candidates throughout the program.
    • Administrative Support
    • Work in coordination with Achieve Miami to develop and assist with fiscal processes. Provide logistical support with hiring and onboarding of TAP staff members
    • Provide administrative support in relation to operations and TAP’s strategic goals, including application processes and participant support.
    • Attend weekly Program meetings and take notes.
    • Maintaining Program calendars and schedules, sending out reminders of impending meetings and workshops.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred or commensurate job experience
    • 2 - 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment; ability to multitask effectively; and maintain attention to detail
    • Proficiency in digital programs such as Google Drive, Monday.com, Typeform, Calendly, etc.
    • Valid driver’s license for responsibilities throughout the day, evening and weekends (required)
