Wire Transfer Clerk jobs in Lubbock, TX

Water Transfer Operators are responsible for the movement of water from water sources to customer frac locations by utilizing poly pipe and lay flat hoses.

Day to day tasks may include rigging up, rigging down, monitoring all lines and pumps, and completing required paperwork in AAIMOS.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, as well as attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Above all else, this candidate will maintain the highest level of integrity as they engage customers in a method that is best for the company; not themselves.

Responsibilities:

• Laying and picking up poly line, lay flat hose, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water transfer operations.
• Loading and unloading of field materials, including pipe and equipment onto trailers and trucks
• Observing machine operations, and gauges, and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions
• Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites
• Following all safety procedures and using proper PPE as required per specific job task
• Assist in containment and spill clean ups
• Communicating with other workers, using signals, radios, and telephones
• Using common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches
• Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel and perform job task
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Possess and maintain a valid drivers license
• Regularly lift heavy weight, climb into trucks and tractors, walk on uneven ground, push, pull, stoop and crawl on a variety of terrains
• Completing training as directed by HSE

Competencies:

• A sound understanding, or aptitude to learn, piping systems and pumps used in water movement
• Experience working in an industrial, physical environment in all weather conditions
• Experience operating, or aptitude to learn, heavy equipment
• Ability to plan and adjust at times to meet each customer/project unique needs and to maximize effectiveness
• Create and maintain strong relationships with coworkers, customers, and landowners.
• Possess the following attributes: honesty, friendliness, professional attitude, fairness, sense of urgency, promptness, and punctuality
• Able to meet performance standards by working safely and efficiently with minimal supervision

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 years of experience
• Valid Drivers License

Preferred Requirements:

• Ability to operator heavy equipment, including but not limited to forklift, skid steer, and bobcat
