JOB SUMMARY: Ace Wire Spring is seeking a shipping/receiving clerk to maintain organization and direction in the warehouse regarding Shipping, Receiving, Incoming Inspection, Finished Goods and Raw Materials.

The role requires the candidate to be able to follow detailed instructions. Some judgment required in counting, weighing, and checking materials and supplies as received from vendors. Make reports of shortages, damaged or defective material. Responsible for movement of material to next station. Count and weigh springs and products. Compute quantities. Prepare products for shipping. Make out packing tags. Assist in departmental work as required. Judgment required in accurately counting and weighing, avoiding errors.

Candidates have the opportunity to earn a wage increase of $1/hour after completing a trial period.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to Lift, Pull or Push Fifty pounds
• Familiarity with handling bill of lading
• Daily Shipments (inbound and outbound)
• Maintain Product Identification with Proper Nomenclature, Work Orders, Labels and /or Special tags.
• Demonstrate Self-Management Skills
• Adhere to all Safety Standards.
• Routine Reports for Specific Parts and Customers
• In-Coming Inspection and Receiving
• Routine Cycle counts on Finished Goods and Raw Materials
• To work within all the guidelines as specified by Company Policies.
• Daily Direction within the Department
• Teamwork with all Support Groups
• To Assist in all activities as instructed
