• An understanding of “On Call” work schedule
• Professional demeanor/appearance and ability to abide by the company’s policies and procedures
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record
• Must have a Black, Blue, Gray suit, Black or Brown dress shoes
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight
• Must live within 30 Minutes of the Funeral Home
• Ability to lift/carry 100-150 lbs.
• Great interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations/environments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely and effectively transport human remains for the Funeral Home
• Interact with grieving family members, various state agency personnel, and healthcare workers.
• Work and Collaborate as a team to complete transfers
• Abide by safe transfer procedures/practices
• Completion of paperwork needed by the Funeral Home, Medical Examiners offices, Hospitals, Nursing Facilities, etc…
• Keeping company vehicles clean and in proper working order

On-the-job training will be provided by our team that includes a well rounded and versatile experience of the funeral industry.

This position is a wonderful one for someone with a servant’s heart and a keen inclination or background in hospitality.
