Wood Machine Operator sets-up and operates a wood machine. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Wood Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Wood Machine Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are looking for an individual that will be dedicated to producing quality work embroidering garments on a 12 head embroidery machine. Operators attention to detail and ability to communicate with others regarding work details is a must. Employee will be expected to learn to hoop and load garments on to machine correctly, remove when run is complete. Un-hoop and remove backing, steam, fold and poly-bag each garment. Other duties will include pulling jobs from warehouse, and returning when job is complete. Machine maintenance and assisting other departments when needed. Previous experience a plus. Paid holidays & time off after anniversary date.
On the job training is provided.
36-40 Hour work week with bi-weekly pay periods.
