Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Wood Repair and Crawlspace Foreman to lead our wood repair and crawlspace encapsulation teams. The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of wood repair projects, including assessing damage, developing repair plans, and executing repairs with precision and efficiency. Additionally, the Foreman will supervise crawlspace encapsulation projects, ensuring that installations are completed according to company standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise wood repair and crawlspace encapsulation crews, providing guidance, instruction, and support as needed
• Conduct thorough inspections of crawl spaces and wooden structures to assess damage, moisture issues, and other structural concerns
• Develop detailed repair plans and provide accurate cost estimates for wood repair projects
• Coordinate with project managers, sales representatives, and other team members to schedule and prioritize wood repair and crawlspace encapsulation jobs
• Oversee the installation of support beams, joists, and other structural components, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and building codes
• Install vapor barriers, insulation, and other materials to encapsulate crawl spaces and mitigate moisture problems
• Monitor project progress and quality to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of customers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and guidelines
• Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, safety procedures, and best practices for wood repair and crawlspace encapsulation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in wood repair, carpentry, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of structural repair techniques, including wood framing, beam replacement, and foundation stabilization
• Experience with crawlspace encapsulation systems and installation methods preferred
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of workers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
