Being a Work/Life Program Manager monitors and evaluates work-life programs that provide employees with flexible work arrangements, financial planning, family/child care resources, transportation, memberships, discounts, and educational opportunities. Collects and analyzes information about employment trends and employee workplace needs by conducting surveys or feedback sessions. Additionally, Work/Life Program Manager may manage on-site fitness facilities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Work/Life Program Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. As an Assistant Manager you will fill a dual role as a Direct Support Professional providing support for the individuals living in the home as well as the responsibilities of the Assistant Manager.
What you will be doing:
As a DSP:
You will provide support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in ways that enhance the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of those we support.
Job duties included and not limited to:
· Providing person centered companionship
· Preparing meals and cleaning
· Plan and participate activities in the community
· Ensure daily tasks to provide a safe and heathy home
· Possibly nursing delegations (not in all homes)
As an Assistant Manager:
· Weekend work is required
· Taking Weekend On-call for Program you are assigned to
· Designated admin hours to complete tasks
· Delegated monthly administrative tasks
· Shopping for groceries and general house supplies
· Not responsible for disciplinary actions
