Wound Care Services Director directs the programs and staff of the wound care services department. Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Being a Wound Care Services Director monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Responsible for the education of clinical staff. Additionally, Wound Care Services Director requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires license to practice medicine. The Wound Care Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Wound Care Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. - Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in wound care and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid state FL license.
- Certification in Wound Care (WCC) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
