Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality websites and applications that align with our company's needs and vision.

Job Summary:

The Junior/Senior Web Developer/Administrator will design, program, and troubleshoot the organization’s website and related applications.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Senior level resource may provide guidance and training to junior web development and design staff.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the IT Director / Solutions Architect,

• Collaborates across departments to identify and understand new website and application development needs.

• Plans, executes, and facilitates website and application development projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and timeline.

• Develops and oversees implementation of websites and applications; coordinates site and application functionality with organization’s content management system.

• Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves site and application issues; recommends and implements preventive measures to avoid future problems.

• Collaborates with security and compliance employees to ensure site security.

• Provides on-call support to support service level agreements.

• Maintains knowledge of emerging technology and best practices in website and application design and development.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• 5 years experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and associated frameworks & libraries (i.e. React.js, JQuery, SASS, LESS, etc.).

• API integration experience (ERP, WMS, CMS, CRM).

• API development experience (RESTful JSON).

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field AND a minimum of 3 years relevant experience OR a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

• A working knowledge of CLI, IDEs (preference given to VS Code and/or notepad ), GIT and GitHub, Linux / Apache Servers (Linode is a plus).

• Experience in Server-Side Languages (PHP preferred, node.js accepted, others considered), and relational databases (MySQL preferred, any SQL accepted, MongoDB considered).

• Experience developing within Frameworks, Libraries and CMS (Laravel, React, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc.).
