EMR USA is seeking a Yard Supervisor to join our team in Mobile, AL. In this role, you’ll support the Site Manager by overseeing daily operations in the yard, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all company policies. Key Responsibilities : Assign tasks to workforce and ensure all work is completed safely while adhering to EMR safety policies.Lead, train, develop, and discipline team members as needed. Oversee completion of employee production reports and ensure timely submission. Report all planned and unplanned maintenance repairs promptly. Assign daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean work environment. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and personnel requirements. Monitor production to maintain consistency and quality. Ensure proper completion of Hazard ID cards and necessary permits. Work all scheduled shifts as required. Skills & Qualifications : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in all types of weather conditions. Education & Experience : Proven experience in a supervisory leadership role. Experience overseeing a team in an industrial environment with a focus on safety and equipment operation. Familiarity with administering safety programs and auditing ground activities for safe practices. Physical & Work Environment Requirements : Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment with exposure to various weather conditions. Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in loud environments (ear protection required).
