The Attorney, Specialist - Intellectual Property may be responsible for preparing patent or trademark documents, licensing agreements, service agreements, transfer agreements and other contracts or agreements as necessary. Responsible for preparing legal documents, reviewing company policies and litigating matters regarding intellectual property. Being an Attorney, Specialist - Intellectual Property requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and may require admittance to a state bar. Protects the organization's assets in the area of intellectual property and may provide risk or legal counseling to upper management. In addition, Attorney, Specialist - Intellectual Property typically reports to a manager. Being an Attorney, Specialist - Intellectual Property work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
