The Benefits Database Systems Administrator assigns the rate coding to ensure the system takes the appropriate discounts, per diems, case costs, and fee schedules. Assists in the implementation and maintenance of benefits systems for managed care and provider data. Being a Benefits Database Systems Administrator may run analysis to verify the accuracy of the system. Supports the implementation and verification of loading the fee schedules. In addition, Benefits Database Systems Administrator assists with training of fee loading processes and ensures coding and schedules are accurate. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Benefits Database Systems Administrator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
