Implements standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. In addition, Business Application Development Senior Manager leads and develops a team of business application delivery programmers with training in the best practices and technologies. Uses knowledge of the field to keep the department's software, techniques, and tools up to date. May manage resource planning and decision-making. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Application Development Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
