The Business Development Team Leader - Annuities ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Supervises a group of Annuities Representatives responsible for handling the needs of new applicants. Being a Business Development Team Leader - Annuities may be responsible for developing or improving annuities application processes in order to facilitate the acquisition of new business. Responsible for handling the more complicated client service issues such as contract exceptions or complaints referred by staff. In addition, Business Development Team Leader - Annuities requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Team Leader - Annuities supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Working as a Business Development Team Leader - Annuities typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
