The Cathodic Protection Engineer II performs inspections, field audits, criticality assessments, and failure analyses. Ensures pipeline and equipment integrity and maintains protection from corrosion using cathodic protection programs, pigging operations, and inspection processes. Being a Cathodic Protection Engineer II monitors maintenance projects for compliance and quality. Prepares specifications, designs, and work plans for cathodic protection program implementations. In addition, Cathodic Protection Engineer II requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. Requires a valid Driver's license. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Cathodic Protection Engineer II work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
