Applies and adjusts plaster casts and assembles and attaches orthopedic traction equipment and devices as directed by a physician. Being a Certified Orthopedic Casting Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, completion of Orthopedic Technician training and certification program. Certified Orthopedic Casting Technician's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
