Utilizes data warehouses, stores, and other business intelligence systems to manage and distribute data efficiently. In addition, Chief Data Officer (CDO) adheres to data privacy regulations to ensure sensitive data is protected. Studies and evaluates emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Chief Data Officer (CDO) manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.
