In addition, Chief Data Officer (CDO) adheres to data privacy regulations to ensure sensitive data is protected. Studies and evaluates emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Chief Data Officer (CDO) manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.
