The Chief Insurance Agency Officer designs, develops, and implements policies for the business lines within the agencies. Plans and directs all aspects of sales and distribution programs for the individual line of business through agencies. Being a Chief Insurance Agency Officer sets and monitors sales goals, coordinates with independent agencies, and supervises sales support staff. Ensures the agencies meet budgeted financial goals in coordination with sales. In addition, Chief Insurance Agency Officer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an executive.
