The Chief Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan introduces and teaches new techniques to staff. Oversees computer-assisted tomography and the maintenance of department supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure the quality of services. Being a Chief Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan typically requires an associate's degree. Maintains environmental, infection control, and safety procedures for the department. In addition, Chief Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a director. The Chief Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
