The Cloud Computing Analyst II develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure on IaaS and PaaS platforms. Assists in the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Being a Cloud Computing Analyst II incorporates security management and privacy requirements into cloud hardware, software, and applications. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. In addition, Cloud Computing Analyst II designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require attainment of a certification like Certified Cloud Architect that is specific to a vendor or platform. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Cloud Computing Analyst II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
