The Cloud Computing Supervisor assists in the evaluation process to select, implement, and maintain the best cloud solutions for the organization. Supervises the team responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Being a Cloud Computing Supervisor ensures that robust security management and privacy requirements are incorporated into cloud hardware, software, and applications. Develops and modifies the development of scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. In addition, Cloud Computing Supervisor ensures the team is following the established audit standards, controls, and processes to monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure. Maintains up-to-date, extensive, and deep knowledge of cloud products, technology, and best practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Computing Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Working as a Cloud Computing Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
