The Customer Project and Implementation Specialist V evaluates use cases and client needs to develop configurations that support business processes. Supports external clients with implementing technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Being a Customer Project and Implementation Specialist V ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Defines and executes delivery and implementation plans. In addition, Customer Project and Implementation Specialist V tests and troubleshoots final system setups. Provides training and end-user support during and after the implementation process. May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or assist in scoping projects or developing proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Customer Project and Implementation Specialist V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
