Job Description

The Cyber Security Senior Manager administers all aspects of technical incident response from initiation to conclusion. Oversees the team responsible for analyzing and responding to cyber incidents. Being a Cyber Security Senior Manager manages and coordinates all efforts to contain and resolve the incident. Assesses the nature of the incident and determines what resources are needed to resolve the situation. In addition, Cyber Security Senior Manager reviews reports and other documentation to recommend improvements to eliminate risks. Ensures established policies, procedures, and methodologies are being followed. Collaborates with stakeholders to establish and ensure consistent response practices and prioritization of security events. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science. Typically reports to a director. The Cyber Security Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Working as a Cyber Security Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
