The Cyber Traffic Analyst V evaluates incident response procedures and capabilities. Analyzes systems and networks to determine deviations from approved policies and configurations. Being a Cyber Traffic Analyst V analyzes identified malicious network activity to determine weaknesses exploited, exploitation methods, and the effects on the system. Conducts security scans, examines system configurations, and reviews documentation of incident response procedures. In addition, Cyber Traffic Analyst V typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Cyber Traffic Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
