Being a Digital Forensics Analyst III recovers emails, databases, and other potentially lost or compromised data. Collects, preserves, and analyzes digital evidence. In addition, Digital Forensics Analyst III documents and reports on findings, and recommends next steps. Evaluates the organization's digital forensic tools and procedures and recommends and implements potentially valuable changes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Digital Forensics Analyst III work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
