Job Description

The eDiscovery Manager develops and implements policies and procedures for designing, implementing, and maintaining litigation databases. Oversees the team that uses technology to support an organization's litigation efforts. Being an eDiscovery Manager provides training to the end users on database use and document management. Responsible for the technical aspects of document organization and control, including electronic discovery (eDiscovery). In addition, eDiscovery Manager confirms the accuracy of the documents and exhibits for trial. May handle more complex cases. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The eDiscovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as an eDiscovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.
