The EDP Auditor IV evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss. Audits complex information systems, platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy and security. Being an EDP Auditor IV requires a bachelor's degree. Determines and recommends improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades. In addition, EDP Auditor IV typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being an EDP Auditor IV work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group.
