The Electrical/Electronics Technician III uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts. Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components. Being an Electrical/Electronics Technician III requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications. In addition, Electrical/Electronics Technician III typically reports to supervisor or manager. May require apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Being an Electrical/Electronics Technician III has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Working as an Electrical/Electronics Technician III typically requires 5-7 years of related experience.
