The Enterprise Systems Administration Manager troubleshoots and resolves any ERP related hardware, software, user access, or other system issues. Manages the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Being an Enterprise Systems Administration Manager plans and implements new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches according to business needs. Integrates ERP systems and applications with software solutions to streamline business processes and data flow. In addition, Enterprise Systems Administration Manager develops departmental processes, policies, and procedures to ensure best practices in the administration and processing of ERP data. Monitors and reviews support requests to ensure timely response to, and resolution of, issues or bugs and coordinates resources and workflow for fixes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Systems Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as an Enterprise Systems Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.
