The Head of Nursing Curriculum oversees the design and implementation of curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Leads and directs the overall planning, development, and administration of nursing education programs. Being a Head of Nursing Curriculum requires a master's degree in nursing. Evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. In addition, Head of Nursing Curriculum requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Head of Nursing Curriculum manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.
