Information Security Architecture Director Salary in Kentucky

The Information Security Architecture Director utilizes the latest tools, techniques, and training in cyber security architecture to create and design the organization's cyber security policies and procedures. Directs a team of cybersecurity professionals that plan and design security solutions that enable the organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Being an Information Security Architecture Director partners with stakeholders to encourage the adoption of security-compatible software designs and best practices. Assists in the development of the organization's strategic vision for cyber security architecture and establishes priorities and strategies consistent with business goals. In addition, Information Security Architecture Director keeps abreast of the latest intelligence from law enforcement and other sources of cyber threat information and briefs stakeholders with actionable information. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering. May require Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). May require Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Typically reports to senior management.
