Job Description

The Intermediate Calibration Technician may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Assembles, calibrates and maintains various instruments and equipment that measure heat, light, voltage, amperage, weight, vacuum, magnetic resistance, etc. Carries out reliability and performance tests on equipment and makes adjustments required to adhere to government, industry, and organizational standards. Being an Intermediate Calibration Technician typically reports to a supervisor. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Intermediate Calibration Technician gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.
