Being an Invasive Cardiac Catheterization Technologist documents evaluation results, progress reports, treatment plans and other data using appropriate formats and systems. Assist physicians with patient monitoring during surgery or procedures. In addition, Invasive Cardiac Catheterization Technologist some positions may require additional certifications such as: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Cardiovascular Cardiopulmonary Technologist / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CI registry). Requires an associate's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Requires Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
