Performs various quality assurance tests to ensure consistent and reliable operations in a laboratory setting. Being a Laboratory Quality Assurance Technician II identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance. Maintains and calibrates equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. In addition, Laboratory Quality Assurance Technician II conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Laboratory Quality Assurance Technician II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
