The Lead Stationary Power Engineer coordinates routine and daily monitoring rounds, scheduled maintenance, emergency maintainance, start ups and shut downs. Responsible for leading a team in the operations and maintenance of a boiler plant facility and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Being a Lead Stationary Power Engineer typically requires an associate degree or equivalent. Ensures compliance with all safety and documentation regulations. In addition, Lead Stationary Power Engineer requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state and EPA Universal certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Lead Stationary Power Engineer supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Working as a Lead Stationary Power Engineer typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
