Job Description

The Midwife (CNM) assists patients in labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care. Provides professional care for patients with obstetric and gynecologic needs. Being a Midwife (CNM) works in conjunction with a practicing physician. Ensures safety and health of mother and child and identifies need for additional care. In addition, Midwife (CNM) requires a bachelor's degree. Must be a Registered Nurse, and certified as Nurse Midwife. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
