Designs, develops, and evaluates the effectiveness of algorithms and frameworks to simulate and model complex systems such as behavior, threat detection, or real-world systems or vision. Being a Modeling & Simulation Engineer II develops visualizations to review and communicate results. Creates scalable frameworks to run simulations repeatedly and quickly or model operational environments and processes. In addition, Modeling & Simulation Engineer II writes and reviews code in relevant languages, packages, and libraries. Typically requires a master's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, or engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Modeling & Simulation Engineer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
