Being a Network Planning and Project Manager communicates and collaborates with other organizational teams to design network solutions that align with organizational systems and objectives. Designs solutions to improve this performance. In addition, Network Planning and Project Manager ensures networks are capable of adapting to new organizational initiatives and potential use cases. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Network Planning and Project Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as a Network Planning and Project Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.
